BuildPass MCP exposes the platform to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, running as the signed-in user. An AI toolkit sits inside the site tools. All of it works over site records; estimating, invoices and claims are not what it reads. Oryn works the other side of the business, and neither replaces the other.
Only partly, and it’s worth being honest about it. BuildPass is site management and compliance software. VIABUILD is the Construction Operating System for residential builders, and its included ViaSite app covers day-to-day site needs like diaries, defects, safety checklists and QR sign-in. If your compliance load is light to moderate, one system may be enough. If deep safety administration is your core problem, they’re different categories.
Some builders run an operating system for the business side and dedicated compliance software for the site side. There’s no native integration between the two at the time of writing, so weigh whether your compliance load justifies a second system, and confirm current integration options with each vendor.

Whichever is currently costing more. In practice, the money side usually leaks quietly (re-keyed quantities, uncoded invoices, late claims) while compliance problems announce themselves loudly.
