Everything syncs live across the operating system, so the office sees site activity as it’s recorded. Diaries, photo logs and defects all attach to the right job, building a record you can rely on at handover or if anything is ever questioned. Because the diary is dated against the residential construction schedule, a slow day on site is visible early rather than at the next claim. Logging is built to be quick, and it is worth being precise about how. The diary entry is typed, short by design, with the type tag, the photos and the visibility setting all a tap each. There is no dictation and no voice capture. Out of signal, the entry queues on the phone and sends when it reconnects, so a black spot never costs you the record. Weather is not pulled from a weather service anywhere in VIABUILD. It is marked on the daily log entry by the person who was there, who taps the morning and afternoon conditions and types the day’s high and low, which is why the record reflects what the site actually experienced rather than a regional observation.
